Blackberry Bread Pudding
Bread pudding is believed to have originated in the 11th or 12th century as a way to use up stale bread.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

Cut the bread into cubes and spread them evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle the blackberries over the bread.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the bread and blackberries.

Press down on the bread to make sure it is soaked in the milk mixture. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Dot the top of the pudding with small pieces of butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
