Berry Patriotic Cupcakes
The red, white, and blue colors of these cupcakes make them perfect for patriotic holidays like Independence Day!

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the blueberries.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners. Add a few drops of blue food coloring to one portion of the batter and a few drops of red food coloring to another portion of the batter. Leave the remaining portion plain.

Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors together in each cupcake liner.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.

Once cooled, top each cupcake with whipped cream and garnish with sliced strawberries.
