Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add the brown sugar and stir until melted and smooth.

Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan.

Slice the bananas and arrange them on top of the sugar mixture.

Sprinkle the walnuts over the bananas.
