  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Line a cupcake tin with paper liners and fill each cup with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cupcakes to a wire rack to cool completely.
