Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until stiff peaks form.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

In a separate bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the heavy cream and beat until the buttercream is smooth and creamy.

Once the cupcakes are cooled, frost them with the white chocolate buttercream.
