Banana Coffee Cake with Pecans
Coffee cake is not actually made with coffee, but it is called so because it is often enjoyed with a cup of coffee.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the cooled brewed coffee. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the chopped pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
