Baklava is a traditional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dessert made with layers of phyllo dough, nuts, and sweet syrup. It is believed to have originated in the Ottoman Empire and has since become popular in many countries around the world.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.

In a bowl, mix together the chopped walnuts, almonds, sugar, and cinnamon.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface. Brush it with melted butter.

Repeat step 4 with 2 more sheets of phyllo dough, stacking them on top of each other.

Cut the stacked phyllo dough into 12 equal squares.

Press each square into a muffin cup, forming a small tart shell.

Fill each tart shell with the nut mixture.

Repeat steps 4-8 with the remaining phyllo dough and nut mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tarts are golden brown.

While the tarts are baking, combine the honey and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until warm.

Remove the tarts from the oven and drizzle the honey mixture over them.

Allow the tarts to cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Let the tarts rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
