  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the walnuts, almonds, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter and brush a baking dish with a thin layer of it.
  4. Layer 6 sheets of phyllo dough in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle half of the nut mixture evenly over the phyllo dough.
  6. Layer another 6 sheets of phyllo dough on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining nut mixture evenly over the phyllo dough.
  8. Layer the final 6 sheets of phyllo dough on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  9. Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. While the baklava is baking, combine the water, honey, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  12. Remove the baklava from the oven and immediately pour the honey syrup over it.
  13. Allow the baklava to cool and soak in the syrup for at least 2 hours before serving.
