Baked Pumpkin Doughnuts

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger.

In another bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and milk.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Spoon the batter into the greased doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a doughnut comes out clean.

Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Dust the cooled doughnuts with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
