Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon.

Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter.

Sprinkle some of the sugar-cinnamon mixture over the buttered sheet.

Layer another sheet of phyllo dough on top and repeat the buttering and sugar-cinnamon sprinkling process.

Continue layering the remaining sheets of phyllo dough, buttering and sprinkling the sugar-cinnamon mixture between each layer.

In a separate bowl, combine the sliced apples, raisins, chopped walnuts, breadcrumbs, and the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.

Spread the apple mixture evenly over the top sheet of phyllo dough.

Roll up the layered phyllo dough and apple filling tightly, starting from one end, to form a strudel.

Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the top of the strudel with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the strudel is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.
