  2. Trim the ends of the asparagus spears and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and pour the egg mixture into the dish.
  5. Arrange the blanched asparagus spears on top of the egg mixture.
