Applesauce Cupcakes
Applesauce cupcakes are a delicious and moist alternative to traditional cupcakes, with the added bonus of using applesauce as a healthier substitute for some of the fat in the recipe.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the applesauce. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
