  7. Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan until almost boiling, then pour it over the custard powder paste, stirring continuously.
  8. Return the custard mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  9. Serve the warm crumble with the custard.
