Almond Caramel Shortbreads
Shortbread originated in Scotland and is traditionally made with just three ingredients: butter, sugar, and flour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

Press the dough into a greased baking dish, smoothing the surface.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

Spread the caramel sauce evenly over the shortbread.

Sprinkle the sliced almonds and sea salt flakes on top.
