In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, honey, chopped fresh basil leaves, salt, and black pepper.

Peel back the husks of the corn without removing them completely. Remove the silk strands.

Spread the honey basil butter mixture evenly over the corn.

Pull the husks back up and tie them with kitchen twine.

Grill the corn for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and lightly charred.

Remove the corn from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
