Frenchdames Peanut Butter Cups
Peanut butter cups were invented by H.B. Reese, a former dairy employee who started his own candy company in the 1920s.

In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and salt.

Mix until well combined and smooth.

Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Place in the refrigerator and let chill for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Remove the chilled peanut butter cups from the refrigerator.

Spoon melted chocolate over each peanut butter cup, covering the top completely.

Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cup.

Return to the refrigerator and let chill for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

Once set, remove the peanut butter cups from the cupcake liners and serve.
