Green Bean Casserole
Green bean casserole was created by the Campbell Soup Company in 1955 and has since become a popular Thanksgiving side dish in the United States.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the green beans until tender.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and black pepper.

Drain the cooked green beans and add them to the bowl with the soup mixture. Stir until well coated.

Transfer the green bean mixture to a casserole dish and top with French fried onions.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the onions are crispy.

Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
