Pierogi Casserole
Pierogi is a traditional Polish dish consisting of dumplings filled with various ingredients, such as potatoes, cheese, meat, or fruit. It is a popular comfort food and often served during holidays and special occasions in Poland.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the pierogi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked pierogi. Pour half of the sour cream mixture on top.

Spread the sautéed onions and garlic evenly over the sour cream mixture.

Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, sour cream mixture, sautéed onions, and garlic.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.

Allow the casserole to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
