Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a madeleine pan with butter.

In a large bowl, combine the corn kernels, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the melted butter and sour cream, and mix well.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Spoon the batter into the prepared madeleine pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the madeleines are golden brown and spring back when lightly touched.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, top each madeleine with a dollop of sour cream and a small amount of caviar.
