Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
The invention of chocolate chip cookies is credited to Ruth Graves Wakefield, who added chopped chocolate to her cookie dough in 1938, expecting it to melt and create chocolate cookies. Instead, the chocolate bits retained their shape, giving birth to the iconic chocolate chip cookies we know today.
