Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds and pulp.

Sprinkle salt inside the tomatoes and place them in a baking dish.

Fill each tomato with cheese, leaving space for an egg.

Crack an egg into each tomato, season with salt and black pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
