  2. Heat milk, water, and butter in a saucepan until warm.
  3. Add the warm liquid mixture and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Punch down the dough and knead in the raisins.
