  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place each ball into a greased muffin tin, pressing down to form a cup shape.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
  10. Divide the glaze into separate bowls and add food coloring to each bowl to create different colors.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookie cups.
  12. Allow the glaze to set before serving. Enjoy!
