  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them out on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked onion and celery, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the chicken broth to the bread mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
