  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, lemon zest, and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, remaining granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Spread the strawberry mixture over the crust.
  5. Crumble the remaining flour mixture over the strawberry layer.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 1 hour before cutting into bars.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
