Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream and cornstarch.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  9. Once chilled, remove the springform pan.
  10. To create the spiderweb design, drizzle whipped cream in concentric circles on top of the cheesecake. Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center to the edges, creating a spiderweb pattern.
  11. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top for added decoration.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
