  • 8 ounce Macaroni
  • 2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Cornichons
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, salt, and pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni and cornichons.

  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
