Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Brown sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Molasses
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 50 gram White sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and molasses until well blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and roll each ball in white sugar.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
