Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic cloves and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the marinara sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top. Repeat the layers.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the spaghetti bake rest for 10 minutes before serving.
