  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  6. Once cooled, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Using a small spoon or a melon baller, scoop out small portions of the chilled mixture and roll them into balls.
