Savory Stuffing
Stuffing is a traditional dish commonly served during Thanksgiving in the United States. It is believed to have originated from the ancient Roman practice of stuffing birds before cooking them.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until crispy.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and celery. Sauté until they become tender.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, sautéed onion and celery, vegetable broth, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
