  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, whisking constantly.
  4. Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, then fold gently until just combined.
