In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pumpkin puree, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into 4 patties.

In a shallow dish, whisk the egg. In another shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs and flour.

Dip each patty into the egg mixture, then coat with the bread crumb mixture.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
