Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and stir until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

While the bars are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and milk, mixing until creamy.

Once the bars have cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting over the top. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Allow the bars to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
