  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, soak the prunes in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain and chop them.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped prunes.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
