  4. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pecans and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.
  5. Transfer the coated squash to a baking dish and sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the squash is tender and caramelized.
