  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into circles to fit the tart molds.
  3. Place the pastry circles into the molds and press them gently.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the milk until it starts to steam.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks.
  6. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
  7. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until it thickens.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, lemon zest, and cinnamon powder.
  9. Pour the custard mixture into the pastry shells.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the custard is set and the pastry is golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the tarts cool in the molds for 10 minutes.
  12. Carefully remove the tarts from the molds and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
  13. Serve the Portuguese Custard Tarts warm or at room temperature.
