  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and salt, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, chop the pistachios.
  8. Remove the baking dish from the oven and sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the top.
  9. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and pour them over the pistachios.
  10. Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes.
  12. Cut into squares and serve.
