Pistachios are one of the oldest flowering nut trees and have been enjoyed as a delicacy for thousands of years. They are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the chopped pistachios.

Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
