Ingredients
  • 8 piece Pierogies
  • 4 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Chives
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the chicken or vegetable broth to the pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the pierogies to the boiling broth and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are tender.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the pierogie soup hot, garnished with chopped chives.
