Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C) and grease a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and cocoa powder until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the sour cream, flour, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Divide the cheesecake batter in half. In one bowl, mix in the chocolate chips. In the other bowl, leave the batter plain.
  6. Alternately spoon dollops of the chocolate and plain batters onto the crust in the prepared pan. Use a knife to swirl the batters together.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen it from the pan. Allow it to cool completely at room temperature.
  9. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 3 hours or overnight before serving.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy!
