  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and peppermint extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.
