  • 16 ounce Chocolate cake
  • 2 teaspoon Peppermint extract
  • 2 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 cup Chocolate pudding
  • 4 tablespoon Crushed peppermint candies
  • 4 tablespoon Chocolate shavings
Instructions
  1. Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions.
  2. Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into small pieces.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the whipped cream with the peppermint extract.
  4. In serving glasses or a trifle dish, layer the chocolate cake, whipped cream mixture, chocolate pudding, crushed peppermint candies, and chocolate shavings.
  5. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve chilled and garnish with additional crushed peppermint candies and chocolate shavings, if desired.
