Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, pumpkin puree, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the chopped pecans.

Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.

Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.

Dip each cooled donut into the glaze, allowing any excess to drip off.
