Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, pulse the pecans until finely ground.

In a large bowl, combine the ground pecans, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased pie dish or tart pan.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely before using as a crust for your favorite pie or tart.
