Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and mix well.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Add this mixture to the butter-sugar mixture and stir until combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter onto the batter, then swirl it with a knife. Pour the remaining batter on top.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and gently press them into the batter.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
