In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, powdered sugar, water, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the strawberries release their juices. Remove from heat and let it cool.
