Over-the-Top Blueberry Bread Pudding
Bread pudding is believed to have originated in the 11th century as a way to use up stale bread.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a baking dish with butter.

Cut the day-old bread into cubes.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

Place half of the bread cubes into the prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle half of the blueberries over the bread.

Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread and blueberries.

Repeat layers with the remaining bread, blueberries, and egg mixture.

Press down gently to make sure the bread is fully soaked in the egg mixture.

Dot the top with butter.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

Allow the pudding to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
