  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and instant coffee granules.
  3. Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the boiling water and mix until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
