  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
